Let Us Make It Happen For You!

Four ways we make it happen for you

Every engagement starts with the same question: what does this organization need people to understand, and what is currently stopping them from understanding it?

Strategic Communications

Most small companies do not have a messaging problem. They have a decision problem. Nobody has ever written down what the business actually stands for, so every employee improvises a slightly different version of it. We fix that first, on paper, before a single dollar goes into marketing.

What is included

  • Communication audit of everything you currently publish
  • Core message platform: positioning, proof points, and the words you own
  • Audience mapping for customers, employees, partners and referral sources
  • A written communication plan tied to actual business goals, not impressions
  • Message discipline guide so your team stops improvising

What you end up with

One story, told the same way by every person in your company.

Public Relations & Media Relations

Paid ads stop the moment you stop paying. Earned media keeps working. Fred spent seven years placing stories for the U.S. Army and then did the same work for corporate and nonprofit clients at a Fort Worth agency. The craft is identical: a real story, written correctly, sent to the right desk.

What is included

  • Press releases written and edited to AP Style
  • Media list building for Dallas, Fort Worth and national outlets
  • Story pitching and follow-through with working reporters
  • Spokesperson preparation and interview coaching
  • Risk and crisis communication planning before you need it
  • Coverage analysis so you know what actually moved

What you end up with

Third-party credibility you did not have to buy.

Leadership & Organizational Communication

Turnover, missed handoffs, and a team that finds out about changes on Facebook are communication failures wearing an HR costume. Fred led soldiers for twenty years and holds a master's in Management and Leadership plus a Professional Scrum Master certification. This is the work of making an organization say the same thing to itself that it says to the market.

What is included

  • Internal communication assessment and rebuild
  • Change management messaging for reorganizations, growth and transitions
  • Executive presence and presentation coaching
  • Leadership communication training for managers and supervisors
  • Agile and Scrum facilitation for teams that need a working cadence
  • Meeting and briefing structure that stops wasting everyone's morning

What you end up with

A team that hears the same thing you think you said.

Government & Mission-Driven Communication

Agencies, contractors, nonprofits and veteran-serving organizations report to boards, funders, regulators and the public at the same time. Fred has done exactly this work in uniform and on Capitol Hill as a Military Liaison to the Association of the United States Army. He knows how the sentence reads to every audience at once.

What is included

  • Stakeholder and community engagement strategy
  • Public affairs planning and spokesperson support
  • Board, funder and donor communication
  • Veteran-facing and military-community messaging
  • Public meeting and testimony preparation

What you end up with

Messaging that holds up in front of every audience you answer to.

The engagement

How an engagement actually runs

Four stages, each one producing something you can hold, read and hand to somebody else.

01

Discovery Call

Thirty minutes, no charge, no pitch deck. You describe what is not working. Fred tells you plainly whether communication is the actual problem, and whether he is the right person to fix it.

02

Assessment

A structured look at what you publish, what your team believes, and what your audience actually hears. You get findings in writing, including the parts that are uncomfortable to read.

03

The Plan

A written communication plan with priorities, owners, timelines and a definition of what success looks like. Specific enough that someone else could execute it if they had to.

04

Execution

Fred does the work or trains your team to do it. Press releases get written. Managers get coached. Messages get tested. Then we measure what changed.

Investment

What this costs

Spirit Arrow prices by engagement rather than by the hour. An hourly rate rewards slowness, and it forces you to watch a clock instead of the outcome. You will get a fixed number attached to a fixed scope before any work starts.

Three structures cover almost everything: a one-time assessment, a defined project, or a monthly retainer when the work is ongoing. Which one fits gets decided on the discovery call, once the scope is actually clear. Quoting before that would be guessing.

Assessment

A structured review of what you publish, what your team believes and what your audience hears, delivered in writing with prioritized recommendations.

Project

A defined body of work with a start, an end and a deliverable. Message platform, communication plan, crisis plan, media campaign, training program.

Retainer

Ongoing counsel and execution for organizations that need a communications function without hiring one full time.

The discovery call is free and carries no obligation. If your problem is not a communication problem, you will be told that rather than sold something.

Let Us Make It Happen For You!

Thirty minutes will tell you whether we are the right fit

No pitch deck, no obligation. Describe what is not working and you will get an honest read on whether communication is your actual bottleneck. If it is not, you will hear that too.
